Ode to the Hood
It was with mixed feelings we left our life and house behind this year...a decade of memories, growth challenges and changes... 2002...so excited to be back home in SLC, to have found the perfect place to start again.
Now 10 years later, and a little guy who has started us off on a whole new adventure. Hard to believe..we have been on and off in this little piece of the 'hood' since college....
Bye bye old house, we will always remember you!

Yampa Freezy Float
Yampa: April 2011. Snow and rain in the forecast. Mom and Pop almost call it off, don't want to freeze out the big guy (or so that was our excuse). At the last minute we decide to rally, hoping for the best...
As you can see the crowds were on the light side, or more like non-existent side. Just us and the birds, beautiful scenery, solitude, and the uncertainty of government shut downs....
The main man enjoyed hours of endless sandbox play, chasing birds and playing hide-and-go seek.
Mini-man takes the oars-whew! this is hard work!
Waking up to snow on our last day of the float...
Hang'n with the daddy
After a fair amount of procrastination, we embark on our icy float..snow cones anyone??
Alexi chastising us to hit the 'splashies'...so we wrapped in a tarp, white trash style, and away we went, right through the meat. Luckily, it had warmed up a bit by then...
